General
Shower Sealer is a quick and easy spray application designed to seal the grout joint of a tiled shower. This prevents moisture
traveling into the wall preventing damp problems such as mould growth. Shower Sealer prevents the grout from collecting dirt, mildew and bacteria resulting in
a more hygienic environment . It will not damage the tiles or result in any colour change to the grout tile and cement. It is safe to use on all types of tile
and grout. Shower Sealer may also be used in kitchens and on granite and marble counter tops.
Usage
Depending on the grout line grid one
container is generally enough for sealing a standard shower of approx 7 square metres.
Application
Ensure that the shower walls and floors are
clean before applying Shower Sealer.Genesis Power Clean is ideal for this. Ensure that the shower area is completely dry before sealing. Wait at least 24 hours
after cleaning before sealing.
Ensure that the sealer is sprayed into the grout lines horizontally and vertically and onto the floor grout. Try to
direct the spray along the grout lines only.
Repeat until the grouting is totally saturated. Wipe the excess off with a dry cloth and buff the tiles
until they are streak free.
Do not use the shower for 24 hours after sealing.
The treatment can last for up to 2 years. However, we advise
re-application whenever grout darkens when wet.
